  • To make a donation by mail, make you check payable to: Fostering Imagination, and mail to Fostering Imagination 4318 Overland Avenue, Culver City, CA 90230. A receipt for your donation will be mailed to you upon request.

Sponsor a Child
By sponsoring a child, you are opening a door that will enhance their self-esteem, encourage creative expression, and affect their entire life. Your donation will ensure a youth’s transportation to and from the program, a nutritious meal, instruction and support, admission to activities and a safe and nurturing environment. To sponsor a child simply follow the donation instructions above and note on your donation which program you would like to sponsor!

  • In the Arts (15 week program) For only $90.00/month for 12 months or $1070.00
A sponsorship in our 15 week program will enable a youth to participate in the theatre or filmmaking introductory program. The Theatre program introduces youth to a variety of theatre exercises, core activities and live local theatre experiences. In Filmmaking, youth learn how to, develop scripts in Final Draft, use digital cameras, direct and act in their own short films and edit in Sony Vegas. Each program culminates with youth performing with mentors or presenting their films at the FI Youth Take the Stage Performance Night.
  • In the Arts (6 week program) For only $35.00/month for 12 months or $430.00

A sponsorship in our 6 week program gives youth the opportunity to continue to                     learn and thrive in our advanced theatre and filmmaking classes and workshops,                 where they will also participate in community service activities and a performance.

  • Learning through Adventure (6 week program) For only $38.00 month for 12/months or $450.00

 A sponsorship in our 6 week adventure program provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth to participate in various outdoor activities (kayaking, biking, hiking, sailing, rock climbing, etc…) team-building skills and educational activities which will help them develop an understanding and appreciation for the environment and the natural world they live in.

  • Birthday Celebration $45.00

For youth in the foster care system, something as basic as a birthday can easily fall             through the cracks of an overburdened foster care system and go unnoticed.                         Children's Law Center. That is why FI has created a Birthday Celebration for each of                 our participants, where time is set aside to celebrate each child’s birthday with a                 gift, a cake and song, and a picture with their FI Family. Sponsor a Birthday                                 Celebration and make a foster youth’s special day a memorable one!

Develop your customized Web Page and encourage guests to commemorate your wedding with a gift to Fostering Imagination. Guests can donate through the registry or simply make a gift in your name. Donate to our Fall or Spring Yard Sale Fundraisers

  • F.I. is happy to pick up or have you drop off your unwanted items, including furnishing, electronics, books, CDs, DVDs, tools, clothing, etc... . All donations are tax deductible and receipts are available upon request. E-mail us to schedule a pick up or for drop off locations.
  • Volunteer at our Yard Sale Fundraiser. There are benefits to volunteering at our Yard Sale Fundraisers! You get first dibs on the cool items being donated and you can enjoy a day in the sun meeting some great and interesting people. E-mail us to volunteer!
  • Donate your yard. F.I.'s yard sales take place in a different location each time. Donate your yard (and access to a bathroom for our volunteers) and know that you helped to raise $500.00-$1000.00 for F.I.'s programs! E-mail us to host a yard sale fundraiser.
